WILD TURKEY CELEBRATES 70 YEARS OF BOURBON MASTERY WITH JIMMY RUSSELL

Lawrenceburg, Ky., September 10, 2024 – Wild Turkey Distilling Co., known worldwide for its bold Kentucky bourbon, is celebrating a monumental milestone as Jimmy Russell, the world’s longest-serving spirits Master Distiller, marks his 70^th anniversary with the distillery. Jimmy, who has always said he’s never worked a day in his life, considers bourbon-making a passion rather than a job. Since stepping into the distillery on September 10, 1954, his unwavering dedication has made Wild Turkey an American icon and helped shape the success of the bourbon industry as we know it today.

To honor this remarkable achievement, Wild Turkey is hosting a global celebration that includes the release of a special limited-edition bourbon: Wild Turkey Jimmy Russell’s 70^th Anniversary 8-Year-Old Bourbon, crafted just the way Jimmy likes it.
